Based on visits to an ancient tree in Furze Wood, East Anglia that has hidden witches for 800 years. I created charcoal from broken branches in Furze wood to produce this large scale work that embodied the story of women's connection to this place, pastel to illustrate different seasons and times of day, with a timeless landscape that could equally be primordial as modern, adding the anachronism of the vessel of my own body in the space.
